Volunteers are special people, called to a service of healing at Community First Medical Center – where the gifts, the power and the worth of one person’s care for another is as important as the clinical technology we use in the overall healing process.
Volunteers have been providing support to staff, patients and their families since 1968. There are two categories:
Teen: men and women 16-17 years of age
Adult: men and women 18+ years of age
A minimum of four hours of service weekly for at least three months is requested.
- Inner satisfaction that comes from helping others
- Discounted meal tickets
- Free enclosed parking
- Uniforms and training
- Recognition including pins and certificates
- Gift Gallery and Pharmacy discounts
- An opportunity to explore health care career opportunities
Volunteers work under the supervision of the Volunteer Department or a member of the hospital staff and serve in most areas of the medical center.
We will strive to match your interests and availability with a challenging, rewarding assignment.
